Αλεξίπτωτα Class 6 ??????

Με αφορμή το άρθρο από το  http://www.xcmag.com  (και σε ελεύθερη απόδοση)......

H Paraglider Manufacturers’ Association  PMA- Ένωση Κατασκευαστών Αλεξιπτώτων Πλαγιάς- ζητά από την FAI να επαναπροσδιορίσει τις προδιαγραφές για την Class3  και εκ νέου να προσδιορίσει προδιαγραφές για αλεξίπτωτα πλαγιάς Class 6! 

Όπως ήταν αναμενόμενο, μετά την σαρωτική εμφάνιση του ‘Baby HPP’ της Ozone (BBHPP- the world’s first successful 2-line designed paraglider!) και την νίκη στο Superfinal του PWC τον Σεπτέμβριο, άρχισε ο αναβρασμός στους πυρήνες των κατασκευαστικών εταιριών και ο προβληματισμός/πειραματισμός για την χρήση άκαμπτων μερών ακόμα και στην ήδη υπάρχουσα κατηγορία Class3 όπως και στην νέα προτεινόμενη Class 6, παράλληλα βέβαια με τον διαφορετικό σχεδιασμό και υλικά αρτανών -2-line plan και carbon rods. Ενδιαφέρουσα η στάση που δηλώνει επίσημα σε ανακοίνωσή της στις 14-12-09  η Advance, όπου αναγνωρίζει το γεγονός οτι το αλεξίπτωτο πλαγιάς βρίσκεται στο κατώφλι μιας νέας εποχής, απο την οποία θα προκύψει, εμφανώς, μια νέα κατηγορία. Όμως αντιμετωπίζει με κάποιο σκεπτικισμό την εξέλιξη αυτή καθώς θεωρεί οτι η εισαγωγή άκαμπτων μερών στην πτέρυγα ίσως είναι ασύμβατη με την θεμελιώδη αρχή της απλότητας του αλεξιπτώτου πλαγιάς, σαν ιπτάμενη συσκευή και φιλοσοφία πτήσης.Θεωρώντας λοιπόν η  Advance το τοπίο ασαφές και ομιχλώδες τόσο σε επίπεδο προϊόντων όσο και σε επίπεδο ανταγωνισμού των κορυφαίων πιλότων στις μεγάλες αθλητικές διοργανώσεις, δηλώνει ότι αποφάσισε να περιορίσει την αγωνιστική της ομάδα λόγω της αβεβαιότητας που φαίνεται να υπάρχει και στο αθλητικό - αγωνιστικό επίπεδο.

The Paraglider Manufacturers’ Association PMA will be holding an International Paragliding Experts Symposium (i-PES) in Hausruck Wald, Austria from 11 to 14 November 2010.

It is the first International Paragliding Experts Symposium!

The venue is  the Robinson Club with it's 496 guest beds, an exhibition area of 2500 m² and 3 lecture halls with a capacity of 300, 200 and 100 seats will be available exclusively to PMA for one whole week.

The International Paragliding Experts Symposium is aiming first of all at all Experts in our sport, worldwide! It will be important for instructors, all personnel of companies, which are connected with the sport of paragliding, associations, manufacturers of accessories, like manufacturers of instruments, paramotors, suppliers and material manufacturers, tandem enterprises and many others more.

Aimed at continuing the education of paragliding professionals from all over the world (developers, flying schools, dealers, importers and all other experts in our sport) it will take the form of 30 different lectures by experts in all sectors of paragliding (in English). The seminars will be complemented with a trade show with exhibitions from manufacturers and suppliers across the sport (the exhibition will be closed while the seminars are underway). The final day, Sunday 14th, doors will be open to members of the public.

You will find detailed informations about the organisation of the I-PES 2010 and about the subjects of the lectures and the speakers of the appr. 25 lectures here soon. The online-registration and reservation of the hotel rooms will be opened on December 1st.

The I-PES will be open for the Experts from all countries worldwide, but it will also feature one day which is open for all interested pilots. More on this website shortly...
